Meet the Team

Jayde

Our boss lady, the one behind the scenes working away to make sure the business is running to its fullest potential always.

Jayde has been hairdressing 12 years and holds a lot of her clients from the first year of her trade. Specialising in blondes, long hair work, colouring & men’s cutting, she can pretty much do it all… (except perming, that is a no go zone)

Jayde works five days in the salon with clientele & training emerging stylists.

Outside of the salon, Jayde enjoys international travel, spending time with her family & friends & partner Jack, and looking after her four dogs.

Sonia

You want fun bright colours? Then Sonia is the best hairdresser for you! Sonia has a real Nak for working with ‘brights’ especially coppers. She also specialises in curly hair. Sonia has completed a ‘Curly-Girl’ approved course learning how to hydrate curls and cut them correctly. We have been lucky enough to have Son work with us for 5 years and she has grown so much since her move to our salon. Outside of work, Sonia has three children and a husband, is a bit of a fitness fanatic and is a social butterfly. Sonia has 31 years of hairdressing on her belt and it shows in the way she truly cares above and beyond for her clientele.

Mandy

Our beautiful mother of the team – Mandy. Mandy often arrives at work with cake, scones, soup or treats for us to snack on and we are so lucky to have this gem. There is no one else like her in this world as she just gives without any self consideration. Mandy has two daughters, a husband and a big garden. Mandy works at our local retirement village (Emmerton Park) every Tuesday on behalf of the salon where she ends up volunteering most of her time there. Mandy has been hairdressing 47 years and has a closed appointment book, meaning she does not take on new clients.

Chloe

Our talented third year Emerging Stylist – Chloe started her career in hairdressing with us in March 2021 and since then we have watched her flourish. Chloe is currently attending TasTafe campus in Devonport every Monday to complete her certificate lll in Hairdressing. Chloe is a natural with her hairdressing skills and handles any challenges she is faced with in salon with professionalism and ease. Outside of the salon, Chloe enjoys playing hockey, camping and off road adventures.

Samantha

Sam – Our kind hearted, forever giving second year Emerging Stylist. Sam started her career with us in hairdressing in February 2022 and has brought a wealth of knowledge to our team. Sam has previously worked in varied industries before deciding she would like to complete her Certificate lll in Hairdressing. She is currently attending TasTafe campus in Devonport every Tuesday learning the basics of hairdressing and completing salon training also. Sam has shown an incredible amount of determination and growth both in hairdressing and herself. Outside of the salon, Sam enjoys cooking (we are always very happy to eat her incredible cooking) camping, fishing and family time.
